Our take
I've been using this Classic Cuisine immersion blender for soups and smoothies. The 6-speed knob gives good control, and the stainless steel blade blends reasonably well. The 32-ounce capacity is enough for small batches, and all parts are dishwasher safe—a plus. However, the plastic body feels light and not very robust. The motor is adequate for soft foods but struggles with ice or frozen fruit. The whisk attachment is nice for eggs. For around $47, it's a decent value for basic blending tasks, but don't push it too hard.
